Ariane Djeussoung, DNP, PMHNP, FNP
With dual board certification as both a Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Ariane Djeussoung brings over 14 years of diverse healthcare experience to The Equilibrium Klinic. She completed her advanced graduate training at the University of Cincinnati and University of Massachusetts, establishing a strong foundation for her integrative approach to mental healthcare.
Ariane founded The Equilibrium Klinic with a clear mission: expanding access to essential mental health services for those who need them most. She offers both convenient tele-psychiatry options and personal in-office visits for adult patients.
At the core of her practice lies a commitment to non-judgmental, compassionate care. Ariane embraces a holistic, patient-centered philosophy that addresses both physical and mental wellbeing. Through evidence-based practices, she creates customized treatment plans that combine targeted psychotherapy with effective medication management, empowering each patient with the tools needed for lasting wellness.
When not serving her patients, Ariane recharges by traveling, maintaining an active lifestyle, and cherishing time with her family.

Dr. Laurentiu Dumitrescu, our medical director at The Equilibrium Klinic, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Dr. Laurentiu Dumitrescu is a highly accomplished psychiatrist with a robust educational background and extensive clinical experience. As a Harvard University trainee, he has dedicated over a decade to the field of psychiatry, honing his expertise in the treatment of severe mental illnesses.
Dr. Dumitrescu is known for his compassionate approach to patient care, combining evidence-based practices with personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual.
Outside of work, Dr. Dumitrescu values a balanced lifestyle. He enjoys quality time with his spouse and embraces outdoor activities such as hiking and snowboarding.
